Beekeeping - certification of organic beekeeping
Apiaries, honey and bee products - we certify stationary and migratory beekeeping. The quality of organic honey starts with the location of the apiary and the forage around it.
Conversion period
12 months, during which the wax is replaced with wax from organic beekeeping.
What we certify
Honey, wax, propolis, pollen, royal jelly and other bee products.
Forage
Within a radius of 3 km around the apiary, the sources of nectar and pollen are mainly organic crops, wild vegetation or low-impact areas, with no significant sources of pollution.
Treatment against varroosis
Only with authorised products - products with organic acids (formic, lactic, acetic, oxalic), menthol, thymol, eucalyptol, camphor, registered as veterinary medicinal products.
Feeding
Only when the survival of the colonies is endangered, with organic honey, sugar or syrup.
What is inspected
The location of the apiaries, the apiary log, the origin of the wax foundations, treatment and feeding, yields and sales.
Price
Annual fee and price per hive. All prices are in our price list.
Private standards
Bio Suisse (Switzerland), KRAV verification (Sweden). For export to the USA under the NOP, the restriction on antibiotics applies.
Subsidies
Certification is a condition for the organic beekeeping interventions.
