Authorisation for control activity
Balkan Biocert Ltd. carries out control and certification of organic production and products in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament on organic production and labelling of organic products, with code number BG-BIO-02, assigned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Accreditation
- Accredited by Executive Agency Bulgarian Accreditation Service - reg. No 2 OSP, under BDS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012
- Initial accreditation: 04.10.2005
- Valid until: 15.02.2027
- The scope also includes third countries - Republic of North Macedonia (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1698)
- Authorisation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food with code BG-BIO-02
Policies
Impartiality
Certification decisions are taken independently of commercial, financial or other interests. The mechanism is built into the structure - see the independent committees.
Confidentiality
Information obtained during control is confidential and is not disclosed to third parties except in the cases expressly provided for by law.
Personal data protection
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and only for the purposes of control and certification.
